S* aims to provide a Bioinformatics education to interested students, everywhere regardless of background, with the help of the internet.

Registrants who are accepted for the S* Bioinformatics Online Course will be notified by email, and have to

• listen to S* online lectures via the S* site
  
• participate in S* discussion forums and
  
• take an assessment test via the IVLE for each of the lectures

The S* lectures are publicly accessible at the S* site for those who wish to learn more about bioinformatics without going through the course requirements.
